Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: September 21, 2026
This policy explains how cancellations, date changes, and refunds are handled for flight, hotel, bus, and train bookings made through the Yetlix agent platform, and how amounts are settled to your wallet.
1 Overview
All cancellations and refunds on the Yetlix platform are ultimately governed by the terms of the underlying travel supplier — the airline, hotel, bus operator, or rail authority — for the specific fare or rate booked. This page explains the general process, timelines, and how amounts are credited back to your agent wallet.
2 Supplier Fare Rules Apply
Every fare, room rate, or ticket type carries its own cancellation and refund conditions set by the supplier — not by Yetlix. These may include:
- Fully non-refundable fares/rates.
- Partially refundable fares with a cancellation charge.
- Free cancellation within a specified window before departure/check-in.
- Date-change fees separate from cancellation fees.
You are responsible for reviewing and communicating these conditions to your customer before confirming a booking, as they are typically displayed at the time of booking.
3 Flight Cancellations
- Cancellation and date-change requests are subject to the airline's fare rules and any airline-levied penalty.
- Airline refunds (where applicable) typically take 7–21 business days from the airline's confirmation to reflect, depending on the airline and fare type.
- No-show bookings are generally non-refundable per airline policy.
4 Hotel Cancellations
- Refund eligibility depends on the room rate's cancellation policy shown at booking (free cancellation window, partial refund, or non-refundable).
- Cancellations made after the free-cancellation deadline may incur a charge up to one night's stay or the full booking value, per hotel policy.
- No-shows and early checkouts are generally non-refundable.
5 Bus Cancellations
- Bus operators typically apply a cancellation charge based on how close to departure the cancellation is requested.
- Some operators do not permit cancellations within a few hours of departure.
- Refund amount and timeline are determined by the specific bus operator.
6 Train Cancellations
- Train ticket cancellations follow the applicable railway authority's cancellation rules, including tier-based cancellation charges and time-before-departure slabs.
- Refunds for cancelled or waitlisted-and-not-confirmed tickets are processed as per railway policy and may take longer during peak periods.
7 How to Request a Cancellation
- Go to My Bookings in your agent panel and locate the booking.
- Select Cancel (or raise a support ticket if the option isn't available for that booking type).
- Review the cancellation charge shown before confirming.
- Once processed, the eligible refund amount is credited to your wallet and reflected in your booking history.
8 Refund Mode & Timeline
- Eligible refunds are credited to your Yetlix wallet, not to the original payment method, unless otherwise required by law or supplier policy.
- Wallet credits are typically processed within 2–5 business days of supplier confirmation, though airline/hotel/rail-side processing may extend this.
- You will be notified in-app and via the status shown against the booking once a refund is credited.
9 Processing Fees & Deductions
In addition to any supplier-levied cancellation charge, a Yetlix convenience/processing fee may apply per cancellation, disclosed to you at the time of cancellation before you confirm the request. Payment gateway charges (where applicable) are non-refundable.
10 Failed / Duplicate Transactions
If a wallet top-up or booking payment fails but an amount is debited, or a duplicate charge occurs, the amount is typically auto-reversed to your wallet or original payment source within 5–7 business days. If this does not happen, please raise a support ticket with the transaction reference for manual reconciliation.
11 Non-Refundable Cases
- Bookings made on fares/rates explicitly marked non-refundable at the time of booking.
- No-shows, or cancellations requested after the supplier's cancellation window has closed.
- Convenience/processing fees and payment gateway charges.
- Bookings cancelled or denied due to incorrect information supplied by the agent or customer (e.g. name mismatches, invalid travel documents).
12 Disputes & Chargebacks
If you believe a refund has been calculated incorrectly, raise a support ticket with your booking reference within 15 days of the cancellation for review. Initiating a payment chargeback without first raising a dispute with us may result in account suspension pending investigation, as outlined in our Terms & Conditions.
13 Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in supplier terms or our own processes. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
